Kate's 2nd Birthday!

I can't believe how fast time has flown... our sweet baby Kate turned 2. 

She is such a handful and a joy at the same time.. LOL.  

She is very smart and not to mention super cute.  

We had a small party at the park. 

It was nice. 

4th of July!

We had a fun 4th! 

The day started with a 5K race that Gracie and I ran together. We ran for one of her classmates who has cancer. Then to the parade and fireworks. If you know Alex you know that he loves, loves, loves fireworks. He pretty much puts on his own fireworks display! LOL.  Gotta love him for that, lots of fun.

I can't believe it.... I can't believe it!! I actually ran 13.1 miles!  What an awesome run and a great town to run in... TRACK TOWN USA! 

I had such a fun time and there were a lot of supporters out there cheering along the way. 

My hubby was my biggest fan.  This was my New Year's resolution... to run a 1/2 marathon. This is the first time I have ever been able to keep a resolution.

If you can't tell I am super proud of myself and I have to say I couldn't do it without the support of my family. It takes a lot of training to be able to do something like this and they were with me the whole way.

Pear Blossom Run

I ran the Pear Blossom 10 MILE Run this last Saturday! 

What a great time. I pushed real hard and beat my time from

last year. I couldn't do all this running with out the support 

of my great family. Thanks! 

This was my motivation when I hit some rough spots.

Those who hope on the Lord they will sour on wings like eagles. 

They will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. 

Now I do the Eugene 1/2 Marathon on May 1st! You can bet this will be written on my hand again :) 

Madison's 4th Birthday

I can't believe Madison is 4!! 

She is such a sweet and smart little girl

For her Party the theme was "The Very Hungry Caterpillar"

I made the cake and had lots of snacks from the book. 

For a craft we made coffee filter butterflies 

and a caterpillar. 

We read the story of the very hungry caterpillar.

It was a lot of fun!.
